We went to the beach for two weeks, which is my favorite place, with my favorite people.

Hhhmmm, young man, it seems you were also busy harassing the good riders of the Seattle public transportation system too. You'll be inside for recess writing 100 times 'I will NOT be the freak on the bus.'

Kamala Devam

This is my lovely friend Kamala, a bharat natyam dancer, performing at one of my India soirees.
She is now teaching dance, choreography and performing in London.
Did you know that a bharat natyam dancer is often sewn into their costume after all the pleating is done? And also, Kamalas braid is so long she ties it to her belt in the back to keep it from hitting her in the face when she dances.
